Chef Omar - Bucerías

We had a party of 9 at our condo and they were amazing. The best meal We had in Mexico! Fajitas, margaritas, salsa and guacamole were THE BEST! Came in, brought the food, prepared, cleaned up-the whole deal and was very reasonable-less than a restaurant and far better service.

Everything about this experience was incredible— both Omar and Nallely were incredibly kind and patient. I left with a full stomach and a fuller heart. Would definitely recommend regardless of age, background, etc!

Experience real Mexico in a typical neighborhood loncheria in Bucerias. Omar's cooking class Feb 2 coincided with official end of Christmas decorations and nativity scenes when it's time for another celebration.. Using banana leaves he personally gathered we made and tasted three flavors of tamales as well as refritos with chorizo and a rich chocolate beverage called champers. Rice pudding topped it off! Wow! We also met some new friends from Minnesota who also enjoyed the evening! Omar and his wife operate El Barco for the breakfast crowd before he heads for his chef job at a popular Bucerias cafe owned by his mother.
