We stumbled over this hidden gem, while we weighed the return from Grad,Slovenia, Austria. service was impeccable and eating excellent! 4th generation owned/operated with fresh means of living from the family farm. the building has a long history, and it was originally a...Shoe cobbler 's mart. I had served the 'medallions of pork in a crispy crust pumpkin seeds with petersilien kartoffels ' enjoyed with a glass white wine. the opposite is known for their Styrian shorts, usually for the oil from the sames. I recommend this beautiful restaurant even if it means to go out of her way!!!

During our team event we had lunch in the host house friedrich and it was excellent from beginning to end. the reservation and the communication before went smoothly and all our requests were answered immediately. the service and eating were excellent, probably one of the best local restaurants. in the opposite way! we come back every day!

Friedrich is the best house in the sense of the East Styria (if not the entire Styria.) wonderful personal and attentive service. the senior manager is a gastronomic genie - a host like he is in the book.The dips from regional ingredients, also from own farming, are perfectly prepared, tastefully outstanding. also good: the Friedrich-Bier. Excellent price/performance ratio - we are happy to come back

Very nice host. beautiful, well-maintained ambiente in the guest rooms. grounded, good kitchen, the chefin cook mostly itself. for us it has been a pleasure to return to the friedrich for years!
