Marker 66 Marina Grille - Buchanan

Went there on Father's day for a late lunch. I couldn't believe it when they said they ran out of food. Even more, I couldn't believe it when they told me the bar was closed too! I couldn't even have a drink while looking for a place that had a kitchen that was still open.

Stopped in today and it wasn't good at all. The menu has significantly changed. Bar Drinks took a long time The table behind us ended up with part of our order (burger and shrimp tacos). So when it was returned to the waitresses you could tell they set it aside for us. That is a definite no-no in the restaurant business. My burger was cold and the shrimp tacos weren't good. If the food comes with sides we weren't asked what we wanted so we got none. $12.99 for a cold Bacon Cheeseburger is crazy! This place has so much potential if they can get it together.

From the Perfect **** Mary to the delicious food and I haven’t even mentioned the view the turtles, this is an awesome spot on the water!! One of our favorites?

We live nearby, and took family to eat at Marker 66.The food is typical bar food, and expensive. Not impressed. One of the couples ordered an appetizer, but we were all charged with an appetizer. The manage refused to take it off of our bill. She was also very rude. We will not go back.

This was my first time eating here and I have to say I had a wonderful experience. Let me start with the most friendliest service ever! My server, Sherry, went over the menu items providing information of top picks. Initially I thought I can read the menu myself, however, there were some unique items that you can't find at other restaurants. Besides my server, toward the end I was having a drink on the back dock and another server offered to bring handful of pita chips to feed the fish and turtles ? 5 Star for southern hospitality friendliness!The Silver Fin Bites Hot of course were fantastic! The seasoning and crisp was perfect. The fish itself was a bit over fried and my shrimp in tacos too. That's the only reason for 4 not 5 star but I do recommend to eat here if you are visiting or local!
