Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Came here for lunch, the place is really sweet with many books. At the end we wanted to have some sandwiches, but unfortunately it was not possible to get it without cheese. 10 minutes after our order, another waitress came to our table and told us about all things on their menu are only 3 items left. It has not made any sense how it was in the middle of the day and why can not only every waiter know about it to offer more efficient service? In the end, two of her remnants were not too bad. not very organized yet.
Firstly, this is a bookshop and a very good one. The bistro is on the top floor, with tables along the balconies, each with an interesting selection of books to brouse. The menu is ideal for a nice, healthy lunch (seed etc.) and a good selection of juices and other drinks. We found this a good, relaxing place to escape the cold and be sure that a good meal, so visited twice during our short stay in the city. Recommended.
After spending a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon browsing books in this amazing bookstore we decided to have coffe& tea. To our surprise we found out that they ran out of most of the tea selections. We ended up having an OK coffee. Worth a visit, if not for the tea than for the architecture at least.
Food was ok but took forever, the waiter seemed to have some issues. The place is clean and new. Athmosphere is ok for a bistro in a bookshop.
This is a very stylish bookshop and a very stylish cafe. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was friendly, the brownies were too solid to be real brownies but were nevertheless very nice, and the home-made lemonade was fantastic. The shop and cafe are open until 10 p.m. (later at weekends) and they do some veggie and vegan things too. But I would call it a cafe rather than a bistro.
