The architecture is great, everything is bohemian in a palace type. The furniture, lighting and music are arranged in a unique style. I am very grateful for everything, for the ambience, for the spectacle of dishes, unimaginable serving and the surprise at the end. Thank you for the reason of my heart!
As a family of three, we wanted to take full advantage of our first visit here and mainly shared everything we’d ordered. For starters, we opted for the octopus bombé, which are basically fried octopus meatballs. The actual meat inside was very chewy, kinda hard...to eat, so I wouldn’t recommend these. Another dish was quite similar to this, but the octopus was replaced by other types of fish, and it was the fried homemade buns. These ones were fine, nothing too spectacular, I would’ve opted for something else if I knew that we would have two very similar dishes, that were average. Moving on to the main course, we had the duck milhojas (the meat was quite dry, it definitely called for a sauce, or something to make it softer, easier to chew), the oven baked lamb (the meat itself was very good, however the garnish made me think that it wasn’t cooked right when we’ve ordered it) and the Pata Negra octopus (the star of the show, ultimately making us want to come back only for this particular dish). It’s quite hard to find very tender and juicy octopus at a reasonable price. If you’re a fan of seafood, and enjoy a good octopus, I’d strongly advise you to try it out at this restaurant. To finish off the meal, we ordered two deserts: the chef’s tarte a mango, yogurt based, tarte and watermelon chutney (a refreshing choice, but the price doesn’t reflect its taste) and the Catalane creme (mostly a crème brûlée, but very watery, with almost no taste other than the caramelized sugar on the top). Overall, solely based on my experience, I think that this restaurant specializes in seafood, so you can define eat some very delicious meals here. In terms of atmosphere, it’s one of the most chic, elegant and cozy restaurants I’ve been in.
Wonderful service and setting, yet unfortunately both main courses (Meat Duck) were dry/overcooked. Fortunately the flavours and presentation were great.
Pata Negra is a great restaurant and I highly recommend it because has a variety and delicious dishes. Drinking is so good here, we loved our experience here and I hope everyone who comes here to share the same joy and passion as... my family. I love you and I hope you do the same good work for us, the customers!
Even for reservation we were asked to come with cash for silly reasons. in the payment of the invoice, some wines from the bottle have a higher price than that presented on the website the Sangria in the offer...not according to a known recipe and was under any criticism, but also very expensive. Colorful water with freshly cut fruits seems to be present the food, but it is not what it was just the billing note was issued, not the bill the special atmosphere is good, but unfortunately this place is falling
