Harris' Smokehouse - Buckeye

My family and I were at Mortimer farms and thought we would try them. We had fried chicken and French fries for kids, and nacho brisket for us. Chicken and French fries was fine for kids, standard you would get at any fast food fills the belly, but nothing to write home about). I was looking forward to trying the brisket nachos, but to my disappointment it was a well cooked piece of beef that was tender, but was not BBQ brisket. Most of the brisket was doused in BBQ sauce covering the flavor, but few pieces of brisket I found with no sauce were rather bland with minimal one-dimensional smoke flavor. I am a huge BBQ fan that enjoys offset quality BBQ, and this experience disappointed. Again, I want to stress that food was cooked well, but wasn't a true BBQ.

The food and service was amazing! We had it in 2020 and I still remember how good it was. Found their name again and definitely plan to come to one of their scheduled days. I would recommend to everyone!

I absolutely love this bbq. It has great flavor and cooked to perfection. My favorite food truck and place to get bbq from. My favorite is the fry plate.
