Great atmosphere, service, food and drinks! Beautiful Arizona view all around.
Delicious! The fish and chips were light and crispy, perfectly cooked cod. The view is spectacular!
We had Sunday brunch at the Vic this weekend and it was fantastic! I ordered the Spinat salad and my son ordered the breakfast plate. He loved his over simple eggs and said they were cooked to perfection! The sweet maple bacon was also a big hit! I had visited the Vic with the previous cook and ordered the Spinat salad several times. The new cook added a little twist. Although I was originally a little disappointed about the small part and lack of nuts on my salad compared to the previous visits, I was pretty unprecedented with the bacon wrapped dates and the crisp and delicate leaves of the salad. The previous salads were very good, but spinach was a bit dressed and confused. This recent visit had juicy spinach leaves and was perfectly dressed. When I noticed my disappointment at the lack of nuts, our sweet waitress brought a small part to add to the salad, making it the perfect complimemt. Overall, I give our visit a solid 5 stars! We're coming back!
Two thumbs to Vic Chef Rob Douglas. Dominic Armato food critic from Az Republic Article: Armato: The best new restaurants in 2016 chef Robert Douglas touches the common tropes of modern American cuisine, with creative touches that keep his menu fresh and alive. From poutine with chopped snails, truffle butter and spring garlic to calf rock steak with preserved lemon and fresh Garbanzo beans Hummus, The Vic was a refreshing sip of cool water in a desert city with endless casual American restaurants with the same two dozen dishes. As Verrado residents, we enjoy the fantastic menu of Chef Rob and the staff. Enjoy 2017 and exciting additions to the menu. Until 2017.
