Caffe Citta - București

Firstly I walked in and was asked to leave as they accused me from coming from the pool. No dress code stated then said I was not allowed to wear sandels and shorts. Average food at best. I wanted to order the cod but was flatly refuaed as they ' 'dont have no apology or forewarning upon receiving the menu. Very unimpressed. Tacky decor. I have been living in this hotel for 3 weeks and my first time visiting this restaurant and obky venturwd as it was the ONLY one open this evening.

We had an unfortunate experience in this establishment, which would seem to be (based on other reviews) unusual, but nonetheless, I can only rate on what I experienced . It had obviously been a busy night, but one that the hotel knew was coming. Either the cafe was understaffed or disorganised, but lots of empty tables still had dirty dishes on them. After eventually being seated, another delay , even though we knew exactly what we wanted to order. The order was placed ... And the real waiting began ! Over an hour from seating to eating ! As if to add injury to insult, serving size was very inconsistent, with a large seafood risotto looking significantly smaller than a small chicken risotto. Some tables get bread ... Some don't ... Who knows why ? Mercifully, the food was actually of a high standard, well presented and reasonably priced !
