Fitout without a single idea, bad quality food (a soup was cold, the other was three days old; the worst eggplant salad of my life; a pepper apetizer...impossible to eat), unprofessional service (four times ask for bread).
If your visit to Bucharest includes stations in the Museum of Natural History, the Geologic Museum and/or the peasant museum, do yourself a favor and plan to eat lunch at this magnificent place, which is around the back of the peasant museum. General portions of good...prepared local dishes at really cheap prices, in an entertaining, casual atmosphere. Even if we haven't seen other tourists, English menus are available and the staff also has helpful language skills. It's a find.
Had lunch on the terrace in one of the first warm days of March. The garden is very nice and well maintained. Food is nothing more than average and service not spectacular.
I was here for lunch and some refreshments after visiting the museums near Victoriei Square. The place is not very grandiose, it is more like eating a simple and relaxed place. We had pancakes with cheese, dill and cream and potatoes with cheese and... natural apple juice. Everything was delicious and fresh. They can mainly eat Roman traditional food, but they also have some pasta and quesadilla. I come here with other occasions.
I also visited this restaurant on other occasions. The main reason is that there are many live concerts where the entrance is free and the food is reasonable and at good prices. I'm glad to invite new bands to help them get started.
