I will start with the tiramisu, that has nothing in common with the original recipe:...the cream is a cheap fake imitation of mascarpone cream. When we ordered we asked if the tiramisu is made with mascarpone and the answer was yes, but in the end, the waiter told us that tiramisu is made with “whipped cream” (maybe also by adding low end egg powder instead of eggs and mascarpone flavored powder instead of mascarpone! . In this case, you shouldn’t call it tiramisu! The kanafeh was even worse… the filling was a dry and hard to chew cheese, and the filo pasta had a strange texture in the center of the kanafeh. In addition, this type of dessert should be served hot. It came just a little warm. I tried kanafeh in different places and this was definitely the worst! To sum up, it was a bad experience. We are frequent travelers and we like to try out different places. We won’t come back here. This place should be avoided if you are looking for high quality food!
First of all, I would like to say that maybe it just wasn't our lucky day, but even so, I would still not recommend the place. Why? Many reasons, and I would like to start by saying that we waited for about 7 minutes to...be greated, outside, after we went in and asked for a table. After that, a waiter showed up at our table, acting as if he didn't even want to be there. Not a smile, or at least a little bit of interest in us, as guests. Anyway, he takes our orders, both drinks and food, without making recommendations or being too willing to help clarify a few products that we were not familiar with, and leaves. Everything took kinda long to get on our table. The reason why I am giving this place 2 stars is because the food was good, both me and my friends enjoyed what we ordered, but if it was only for the service... hmmm, you're right, 1 star. Then, it bothered us that nobody came to double-check to see if the food was alright or if we needed anything else. Me, per example, wanted some salt, which, by the way, wasn't on the table. I also had to ask for napkins, because there weren't any more in the special designated little box. For those, we had to look for a waiter. Moving forward, after we finished eating, we wanted our check and, again, we had to wait and look around for about 10 minutes, until two of us decided to go inside and pay, while the other two waited at the table. Meanwhile, our waiter comes to buss the table and when asked if the guys managed to pay, he gets confused and doesn't even know what's going on. Now, you might say I'm being a little too extra, but none of us felt welcome there. I get that they might have been a little busy, but that doesn't mean you treat your guests with that lack of empathy. I feel entitled to say what I'm saying and support my opinion because I've been in that position when I was a student and I know what quality service means! My recommendation to the managers: train your staff to act professional, respect the service steps and provide fast service. After all, the place is located in an area where people have higher expectations. And it would be worth it, judging on the prices you guys have. Thanx.
Very good restaurant! I was here few times and every time the food is very good. The stuff are super nice and speaking English, the waiting time for food is not long. The dishes are very tasty. I would definitely come here again!
