I went to Pukka Tukka with a friend before attending a classical music concert, with the purpose of having something healthy and light to eat before the event. We knew Pukka Tukka is specialised in organic food, but we were quite disappointed, especially I. I first went in to order and the facial expression of the waitress showed more than rejection towards us, as if she was doing us a favour for being there to take our order. We ordered and I got a very good organic vegetable cream soup, but at one point, while I was eating I noticed 2 types of hair in my soup which did not belong to me, neither my friend. One of them was a piece of hair from the head, but I couldn't quite figure the origin of the second one. At that time, I was so disgusted I immediately called the waitress and showed her what I found. I was surprised I did not even get an apology, instead she said it never happened before. I uploaded the photo of the hair-contaminated soup in the TripAdvisor Gallery.Compared to the services and the food they provide, the place is very expensive.
We passed for a quick lunch and were surprised how good it was. I had the minestrone and my boyfriend the vegetarian burger. Good and simple!
I decided to check this place out based on TripAdvisor reviews and I am so glad I did! I had lunch there (the pukka Tukka salad) and it was outstanding.. avocado, edamame, egg, salmon, and other ingredients I can't remember.. one of the best salads I have ever had.. other food items I saw also looked very tasty.. service is a bit slow but that is because the chef is very deliberate in preparing each menu item. He treats it as if it was a work of art.. I was really impressed with this place. If you are in the area, definitely visit this place!
Anregung, keine Kritik. Auch der Espresso zum Schluss war gut.
