Restaurant Margineni - București

A wide range of foods. We ate a salad Gustosa (very interesting combination) and a spicy chicken roast pan (very delicious). The desert, cheesecake with forest fruit jam, was very refreshing. Campari Orange was very appreciated. Live music was a little too loud.

Despite being a good budget restaurant, the service is REPEATEDLY POOR. One waiter took our order, other brought part of the drinks but the mineral water was still water and 2 instead of 1. Afterwards we waited 15 min for the glass of wine ordered...from the start, meanwhile I went to get it by myself. We got the soup but not the other dish (2 mici), which can be prepared in 5-10 min. Micii came with mustard and potatoes, despite we said from the start not to. The waiters bring the management's efforts down and fast, sadly. We won't come here again, we just want to be respected and heard when we order.

The food is very tasty ..and the prices are decent! I like also the restaurant design. The only problem is the parking ... It s very hard to find a free parking place.

Margineni is a good budget restaurant. If you like to go out but don 't spend too much money, this is a good place to go. The food isn 't great but good enough. The portions are big and the menu is varied. It doesn 't have a...non-smoking area which is not so good if you want to take your child with you. The only option is to go during the week and early in the evening when the restaurant is almost empty (especially upstairs). This is what we did and it was ok, the air was breathable. The prices are good, we spent around 100 lei for 2 ciorba , 2 main courses, one cocktail and one beer.

Atmosphere was average, the restaurant was kind of empty. It seems it was recently renovated, looking very good inside. We were 4 persons, me, my wife and our nieces, ordered 3 tripe soups and a plate with cabbage rolls. The food was average and it...wasn't brought all simultaneously, they brought first the soups, and after half an hour the cabbage rolls, so one of us was watching the others eat, then the other 3 were watching one eat. They should have brought all the food together and they did not seem to be aware what was ordered and why the food was brought this way. The food could have been better. The tripe stripes were not all of them properly boiled, some were show sole type, I could not chew them... The cabbage was looking burnt... Personally that was my first and only visit there.
