Saray Restaurant - București

Decent enough food, but like many other places in the old town the welcome is a little false and the staff quickly lost interest. Would I go back, yes, would I rush back no. Given my local Uber driver said avoid the old town maybe I should’ve listened to his advice and stuck a little further North where the service was more (realistically) friendly

Food was a bit less impressive than expected, and quite pricey. Service was OK with a few miscommunications, but nothing too bad. The atmosphere and position of the restaurant though were both very nice.

One of the worst meals ever, over-salted meat and stale salad . My wine was undrinkable. Do not waste your money here.

In the heart of tourist central this is a nice place to sit and have a drink and soak-in the historical atmosphere and watch the world wander by. However, I was not impressed with my order. I had the hummus with beef and bread and it was NOT good. The bread, supposedly freshly made, was cold and hard and the hummus/beef was salty and gave me terrible indigestion! The Cosmopolitan however was perfect. Solid and attentive service and as I already said great location to sit and relax. I only reccommend for drinks.

Elegant terrace right on the street Lipscani (number 21) Food is excellent same the staff; it is in front of the National Bank, so u can hope in someone loosing a bag full of money
