Ottima cucina, molto italiana, belle porzioni costi non proprio rumeni..e la differenza si vede.Palermo terra natia del cuoco...è ben rappresentata.
I'm living in Romania for over 2 years now and when I heard there was a new Surinam restaurant opened near my office I was really excited as the diversity of kitchens in Bucharest is very limited. We ordered the chicken sate and the roti as take out food. These are main stream dishes and should always be good. The sate was not marinated properly normally should be at least 1 or 2 days in advanced and had a bit of a weird structure to it but the sauce was ok. It was the traditional Indonesian peanut sauce rather than the Dutch version. The main course was the Roti, I know it is difficult to get ingredients in Romania but surely for a restaurant you should be importing key ingredients and that made it a bit of a disappointment. There was string beans in stead of Kauseband and also the herbs weren't powerfully enough to give that real roti taste. I'm used that roti has a nice chicken leg cooked in the sauce in this case the sauce was hardly there and as chicken there was cut up breast and didn't had the taste. The roti itself was good of taste and quality. And I really applaud the owners for bringing different concepts here and hope the do well. But would advise that if Surinam is to far away travel to Holland and take some lessons.
