Very nice place with beautiful traditional decorations. Well located in the city. The waiters are very kind and take care of their clients. You can taste traditional dishes here. I have tested the marinated muttons, very tasty with many flavors. The papanasi dessert was perfect. The dough was crispy and not fatty. A good match with the cream cheese and the jam. I recommend to share this dessert with someone else, the amount is huge!

A traditional Romanian restaurant in Bucharest. The service was awesome! Our waiter and his colleagues were extremely attentive, helpful and kind. The salads, meats and veggies were fresh and prepared perfectly. The restaurant is clean and the flowers everywhere create a great setting. Great place to bring guests that come to visit Romania!!! The papnasi is just delicious! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Very good authentic food from Romania. The folklore dancers were a really nice touch with the traditional customs. Food was really well executed. I can definitely see the influence of french cuisine.

Me gustó mucho el restaurante Vatra porque la comida es muy sabrosa, las raciones son grandes y los precios aceptables. Además, los conjuntos rumanos son impresionantes, y tienen programa nocturno con música y bailes tradicionales. Recomiendo el restaurante Vatra para disfrutar la comida y la cultura auténtica rumana.

Had the white bean stew with sausage and it was great. Felt like a real home cooked meal with the sour cabbage salad on the side.
