Platz - Budapest Magyarorszag

Great food and friendly staff, fantastic place just next to The Basilica. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Cool vibes too!

Visited this place by chance on a three day trip to Budapest 17/3/18 We didn’t have a meal but others around us looked to be really enjoying what they had. The ambiance, music and cocktails made the experience one that I would love to repeat

We liked it. We lived in the same house and PLATZ smells were always very delicious. Cafe is stylish, prices are moderate. The menu wasn't very diverse, but the goulash was amazing and the hamburger of good meat. DJ and his remote loved it. Surprised only the waiter at the entrance when we came in, he asked you to eat or only drink? And I went looking for a table only when we said we'd eat. But there was really little space available, so maybe it was a forced measure. We liked it. We lived in the same house and the smells from PLATZ were always very mouth watering. I have really enjoyed popping in an out of this place over the last few days in Budapest. The service is friendly and professional. They have an excellent range of Hungarian wines plus great choices in local and International craft beers...and of course the palinka is the best for a nightcap, daycap or any cap at all really
