It was a big disappointment, we expected much more. We have been to a much more cultured similar place in the capital, and we have returned there several times. We chose it as a destination because it announced a full repertoire for the weekend, and we wanted to taste it. By the time we got there, only the bistro part was open, due to an event, with a limited offer. For the price, the food should have been much, much better. It was probably our first and last visit. We are sorry!

Őrház BBQ had a stall at the Beer BBQ festival at westend over this past weekend. The ribs, BBQ sauce and coleslaw were really good but the brisket... Wow it 's on another level. So tender, all the right flavours. It 's cooked/smoked over 19 hours and is just phenomenal. My fiancé is American and she said it 's the best brisket in central Europe she has tried and compared to the US BBQ cuisine it would be up there with some of the best and would be highly respected. We ended up ordering 3/4 portions and was just excellent with the craft beers on offer, the BBQ sauce was more a tomato based sauce but for me personally it was the perfect accompaniment to the flavours of the brisket and I would choose it over a more traditional BBQ sauce, really great job by the team at őrhaz.
