Subway Astoria - Budapest

Big disappointment: little content, but at least very expensive... It's all hype! By the time I got the sandwich home, it was completely shrunk; about a third of it, plus very few vegetables, and very little meat and cheese. Even the best McDonalds burger is more filling and much cheaper. Oh, and it's true that I speak English, but in Hungary it would be nice if every employee in a restaurant spoke Hungarian. This current trend here in Budapest (e.g. WOLT couriers) of not speaking Hungarian in catering is quite irritating! Even in the cheapest Chinese buffet they have learned enough Hungarian to understand themselves! It's not PC or a multinational company's goodwill programme: it's what you would expect of any catering establishment in a normal country: speak some of the country's language if you live there and want to earn money from the locals!

Bread was dry, workplace dirty, unwashed counters. Bought it with fries, they were soggy and bland no flavours at all barely could swallow even with the sauce. Dissapointed because I love subway, but not this one. 0/5

Skip this Starbucks Store, long line for disgusting taste of coffee, sandwich was me either. Grabbing used cups, keepin’ this place clean, doesn’t mean anything to them.

The worst service ever! Staff behaving very disrespectful! Staff whipping their nose with hands while making my sandwich! Dirty!!! AVOID EATING THERE!!!

The good is great there was a new worker she was a bit slow
