Cherry Blossom Tree - Buderim

If you want a 'feed' that resembles Sushi, then the Cherry Blossom won't disappoint. But if you expect flavour filled Sushi prepared with care and at a reasonable price then stay well away.The words bland, boring and disappointing describe our first and second experiences. We gave the place a second go as everyone has an off day, but two strikes is enough for me.Not worth the effort in a large food court area at the Plaza with many other options.

I'm an extremely hard marker on Japanese food but this was right up there with the bestScreamingly fresh sashimi and the oysters were incredible.

I came here expecting a comparable experience to their Maroochydore location.

We were there for casual lunch after a movie. Our son had sushi and some gyoza which were nice enough. We had a large Sashimi platter ($55) and some tempura vegetables both quite nice. The big issue was with staff. We did not order drinks but we're also not asked. When we ordered some mayo and some ginger we were told there would both cost extra. Whilst this is expected for takeaway sushi, when eating in and spending over $80 you would expect these to be complementary. Disappointing experience overall.
