This restaurant is always bustling for a reason - the fresh fish practically melts in your mouth. We had a delightful picnic for 10, and everyone was impressed with the quality of their meal. Thank you for a delicious dining experience.

Had lovely takeaway fish and chips from here today. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer for chips and the staff are very ceoliac aware with regards to separating the packaging and will clean down the grill before grilling. Fish was fresh and well cooked...too.

I don’t not feel they cater for locals but unsuspecting visitors whom they don’t care if you come back. I order over the phone from an online menu. When we picked up the food it was more expensive that expected so I queried the cost....Apparently the online menu is old and the manager said the prices are on the board. I accepted this as there really isn’t much I can do. However the cost still didn’t add up. Turns out a new lady who was very apologetic accidentally gave us large fish instead of small. I have a 4 and 6 year old. This is where it gets awful. They lady serving me states that I have the larger fish I need to pay for it, even though I didn’t order it. Then she commenced belittling me over the small amount of difference. The extremely out of touch attitude was humiliating and undeserving. As a family we have to watch every cent and this trip away was a first in years. I would never go into a shop and pay more for something I didn’t want, who would?

This is actually the third time we have visited in the past two years and left feedback on each occasion, However now I feel the need to post feedback on TripAdvisor since no obvious changes have taken place. My main issue, and I explained to...the manager, is that individual pricing for fish, calamari, prawns etc is not written on any menu boards upon entry (except at the far end of the counter virtually hidden until pointed out by the manager after I asked the question) rather you need to sift through the various combination menus on the board to find something suitable. On this recent occasion we ordered two $15 fish and chip packs, however we would have preferred to buy two pieces of fish and a small chips between us which most likely would have saved us approx $10. I have no problem with the quality of the food, just make the ordering process simpler and transparent so I dont feel you are ripping us off.

Purchased fish and chips during the Christmas holidays from here and was left very disappointed. Use to go here every year but never again after the quality severed up.
