This charming restaurant is located on Highway 24, just north of Main Street. I visited for breakfast and, not being a fan of eggs, opted for the hash browns topped with poblano green chile and a perfectly toasted bagel. Their preserves, sourced from a local maker in Palisade, CO, were delightful. The green chile was very mild, making it a nice addition. My dining companion ordered the 3-2-1 and really enjoyed it. Overall, it’s a bright and pleasant spot to enjoy a meal.
I had an excellent meal! We'll definitely return if we're in Buena Vista. The staff was wonderful too! I highly recommend it.
When my family and I arrived, a server asked us to wait for a moment. The restaurant was mostly empty, and there was no one ahead of us. We waited for 5 minutes, during which a man sat down at the bar and was handed a menu. Another server reassured us that we would be helped shortly. After another 3 minutes of waiting without being seated, we decided to leave. We went to the breakfast diner across the street, where we were quickly seated and served.
This restaurant is fantastic! It's a charming spot located in a lovely little town. We visited during the off-season, so it wasn't overly crowded, but there were still plenty of people. I absolutely loved the decor—it's cute and cozy, featuring great local artwork. I ordered a special that included pesto, beets, eggs, and tomato, and it was incredible! My friend had the sweet potato hash, and it was delicious as well. This place is both tasty and adorable—definitely worth a visit!
