K's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

Fantastic hamburgers, fries, and shakes! The restaurant operates like a well-oiled machine, ensuring that your food arrives quickly, even though everything is cooked to order. It's a must-visit for us whenever we're passing through BV! The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side; otherwise, it would definitely deserve five stars.

The standout feature of this restaurant is definitely the ice cream and the unique way they announce orders. When you place your order, you're given the name of a celebrity—like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, or Shirley Temple—and you wait to hear that name called. It's a fun idea that appeals to all ages. Unfortunately, the burgers leave much to be desired; they lack flavor and are quite greasy. The venue is a small spot located along the highway as you enter town, with limited seating. However, there is a nearby park for kids to expend some energy. Inside, there's a map where visitors can pin their hometowns, which is interesting to see and shows just how far people travel to visit BV. Enjoy the ice cream and the playful ambiance, but I’d recommend finding somewhere else for an actual meal.

This is a fantastic little roadside spot for burgers and corn dogs. We brought our dog along, so we couldn't go to a traditional restaurant because he prefers to avoid crowds. Although there was a long line, it moved quickly. The chili dog combo and corn dog combo were delicious, and the fries were fresh and hot. The service was excellent. Plus, there's a lovely little park next door.

We waited in line for about 20 minutes, to be expected on a Saturday afternoon, but the food did come out very quickly after we had ordered. It's a typical American drive-in type menu, with burgers/fries/ice cream/malts. They loudly proclaimed they were out of burger patties at 3:30pm on a Saturday. You're a burger joint- how does that happen ?? Pricing is about what you would expect, middle of the road. The corn dogs were the same price as burgers. They were good, don't get me wrong, but not worthy of the same price point as a juicy burger. We enjoyed our Freezes (think Dairy Queen Blizzard). The ice cream is a classic creamy soft serve.

This is a very popular place. It 's a walk up place with a little bit of outdoor seating. They play fun music and they give you a famous person 's name that they call when your order is ready. They have soft serve ice cream and my favorite thing was that they were very generous with my rainbow sprinkles!! The burger tasted good but the bun was hard and dry, not fresh. I ordered onion rings, heard the young woman yell, o-rings! But then when we picked up the order I had fries (not great by the way) and no onion rings. My husband told them we had ordered onion rings instead of fries, but apparently we weren 't charged for onion rings and they weren 't willing to give them to us because they said too many people scam them saying they didn 't get their onion rings. Weird. And frustrating.
