However, we found a charming room upstairs with tables from old doors and once the air conditioning had to work, it was pleasant. We ordered a few salads and mozzarella cheese, top of the choice was the salmon salad. We chose an amber beer called Patagonia after the trend in Buenos Aires for locally brewed beers, I found it delicious. We then had desserts, the best was apple crumbs and ice cream and one called volcán de chocolate, a kind of warm forest gateaux served with ice cream. The third dessert was the lime cake. The service on a strenuous Sunday afternoon was a tad slow but quality made waiting worthwhile. It is probably better to go on less busy days and if the temperature on the beautiful terrace is not sounbearly hot and humid. Alaire only accepts visa debit and credit cards. As with most restaurants in Argentina, if you need a PIN for your card, you need to make the tireless journey to the cashier, wireless card technology is still a rare thing.
We found this as a beautiful place for a quiet glass of wine in Palermo Soho. Many of the bars are concentrated beer, offering this wine and food and has the advantage of Avery's pleasant open roof terrace, which is great on a warm evening.
We visited BA during our week. For the first time in the morning we had an icy cappuccino mocha on the terrace. It's super fun to hang ours and watch all the action on the street below. There are no traffic lights or signs, but somehow the four way traffic (car, bike, foot, stroller, walker... They call it! everything is going to be safe by crossing. On a return flight we had lunch in this really cool room. Loved the decor, and lunch was delicious. K had a sandwich with chicken, green and tomatoes on Ciabatta. I had Ensalata Lachs (incense salmon, like Lox, on the expense of really fresh greens with surprise! Crumbs and guacamole! Sounds funny, but it was really good! That's the espressos. Great food, service and location.
Try to get a table up where you can sit outside in the evening and enjoy the lift of the pedestrian and motorized down. Beautiful employees who were so friendly and remembered our order from the night before, and got it ordered before we even sit down! Had dinner one night there that we did not enjoy, but the Sharing plates that came out of the kitchen looked excellent so we think we were wrong. Great wine spot for a drink in the evening.
I've been here for lunch and ordered a salmon with teriyaki sauce which was terrible. There were 4 small pieces of salmon that have probably been heated up in the microwave inundated by a terrible sauce and sliced onions. Service was extremely slow. Will not go back to this place.
