Casa Saltshaker - Buenos Aires

Fantastic experience, in a private home but world class dinner. Hosts make you feel welcome and was super fun getting to know the other strangers around the table. Exchanged numbers and were friends by the end. Highly recommended.

It was such a lovely evening! I was recommend for Casa Salt Shaker by some friends and am so happy I was. The food was delicious and unique, the ambiance was awesome and truly felt like a home. I loved the group conversation and Dan was a great host.

So many foodie places exist in B.A. but nothing like dinner at Dan's house. More like dinner with friends, Casa SaltShaker is not a restaurant but a private home in the nicest neighborhood, Recoleta. Having first learned about it from a food journalist in a major US paper, I have visited several times, including January 2022. The experiences not only pleased my pallet with great food and wine but left a lasting positive impression of why we seek adventure in the first place. Travel and the experience of unique, delicious food is what elevates our experience as humans and Casa SaltShaker brings it all together.

Dan is super friendly, best food in hate in BA! A great find for solo travelers. Bilingual; good for Spanish and English speakers.
