We split a delicious Caprese salad and then felt totally decadent as we ate the homemade pasta drenched in butter. Mine was a spinach ravioli filled with sage and butternut squash. The flavors were intense. The bread basket was tortuously inviting and we accepted that...invitation! Very good.
After two weeks in Argentina we were looking for something other than steaks. I know, sacrilege! Our guide recommended Il Mattarello. The food was exceptional and if you are there on 29th have the gnocchi which is amazing but follow the tradition of putting a...small note under the plate to bring luck for the next month. No idea where the tradition came from but it is fun. Service was great, wines were lovely and the whole bill wasn't much over $50 for two. Lovely. Highly recommended!
In the middle of Soho Palermo, beautiful Italian restaurants with over prices pasta. They say it is homemade, but the sauce was inadequately flavored, the sugo had hard cuts of meat, unenchanted service. This is strict for tourists in the area. Would not recommend!
The food deserves 6 starts! I wasn't so happy with the service. Because we had no reservation, we were put on the side, even that there were no line or other people waiting. When we had set ourselves, we had to wait for the waiter to come for over 20 minutes, welcome us and take our order. Then the drinks and the food came and it was worth it from the beginning. Food 10 starts drinks, best aperol spray ever! I turn this up as I am my AMAZING RAVIOLI GENOVESE
