Sushi Square is located directly from serrano to gurruchaga. we tried to order the great special menus they only have for 75 and 85 pesos, but not read that they were served only until 3 o'clock. as we always ordered and loved from the menu. the prices were actually cheaper than in the states that are a rare for palermo. we paid approx. 20 usd for 15 pieces sushi 2, 1 liter beer and 3 small teller gyoza, teriyaki meatballs and sashimi. the music was also beautiful and the people watch .great! not too many people were there when they seemed to move around the lively, bright corners of the streets. this place also had seats, but we chose the front outside. they also have a garden in the open, in which they sit human.
Like others, I stumbled on this restorer. it was a nice departure from all the heavy asados and other food we had eaten on holiday. the sushi we tried had unique taste combinations that I had never seen in sushi., like a roll had sun-dried tomatoes and another guacamole. they were great, and as an English-speaking tourist I was especially great, they offered a menu in English-speaking languages. it is a small place with few tables that are quickly filled, and it is price very reasonable.
We just happened to this place because we were in palermo. it has not many tables, but it has a wonderful ambiente and good eating. you will not regret going to this sweet spot.
Really small place, but really nice atmosphere and good eating! definitely had new york the feeling, it had only a few tables and an intimate atmosphere. the sushi servings were generous and tasted super fresh. their location is great, in the ground to foot. distance from my hotel as well as a series of other things like bars, caffes, local shops. I didn't see any seats in the open when I left, but it still had a great atmosphere. her waitress was pretty good, didn't interact much, but still it was okay. the prices were a bit steep, but that's what they get when they order sushi, I assume! really delicious and excellent experience overall!
Kaizen is a small restaurant with less than 10 tables. Since we were going to be a group I made a prior reservation and we were given the big comfortable Japanese style table in the back which included pillows on the seats. There was only...1 waiter for all the tables but he managed them well and always treated us very courteously although we waited awhile for our food. We ordered a combination of rolls plus a tray of a variety of salmon sushi (sashimi, sushi and rolls). Nice presentations (see photo below) and the majority of the sushi was very good except I didn't like the imitation crab rolls. In addition to sushi the menu had a wide variety of Japanese and Peruvian dishes as is the trend to offer both types of cuisines. There was a good selection of wine and beer. The prices are reasonable but no credit cards are accepted.
