The food is ok, the environment is simple, but pleasant and cozy. The waiter was very friendly and fast, but what really distinguishes this restaurant is its desserts. My colleague had a raspberry pannacotta and I had a Pave of dulce de leche, and both tasted like a Michelin 3-star restaurant Dessert! This restaurant is worth a visit because of its desserts and nice service!!!
When we went down the La Valle road, we found La Casona del Nonno and after talking to one of the waiters, we decided to go and eat. How much satisfaction! It was really an excellent dinner. The food was delicious, authentic Argentine. We ordered Barbecue Parillada for two and Patagonian lamb Cordero Patagonico, previously of good bread and deliciously flavored olives in olive oil, all accompanied by a bottle of good Argentinean wine. The whole food was very well prepared, with a wonderful taste and presentation. Food portions are huge. The service was also at a high level. The waitress made us feel at home. We recommend this Argentine restaurant in Buenos Aires.
It was a good place to visit our first evening in Buenos Aires. We had chicken salads with hard boiled eggs. Salad was beautiful. Service was good and fast.
They serve a dry bread and olives with seeds for appetizers and the size of the Bife de chorizo was very disappointing. I expected more. Taste is OK. There are better restaurants nearby and for less
