From this place around the noon Bs When time was 1:30 and saw some people sitting at the bar as if they enjoyed their vaciopans c/ papas fritas immense. We decided to order the same with some Chinchulines....The service was really good and friendly, although we don't speak much Spanish and he no English. The waiter even told us that an order of vaciopan was enough to share us and politely discourage more food from the order. The food was delicious. The vacio was delicious and well seasoned. The bread was crusty outside and soft and chewing in it kept the meat, and sucked the meat juices, the chimichurri and the cebolla salsa? really good. The frits were really fresh and tasty, i.e. none of these frozen pommes. The Chinchuline were good moody and salty as I like it. Some needed a bit more cooking to make them crispy, IMO, but that's a personal preference as I usually eat them deep-fried. The atmosphere was a super super super up to Earth without pretension. Just a few working guys eating lunch. Great value also ARS240 for all that including a bottle of Agua con gas. My place! Recommended if you are not too fussy. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Loves the place!!! The food was great and the staff really nice. Go to a chorizo steak! Good prices and well located!
I walked around this place at lunchtime (hour of bs as, which was around 1:30) and saw some people sitting in the bar looking to be enjoying immensely vaciopans c/ fries. We decided to go in and ask the same thing along with some chinchulines the service was very good and friendly even though we didn't talk much Spanish and he didn't speak English. the waiter even told us that a vaciopan order was enough to share and politely deterred us from asking for more food. The food was delicious. the emptiness was tasty and well-conditioned. the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft and chewable on the inside, contained the meat and absorbed the juices of the meat, the chimichurri and the onion sauce (?) very well. The fries were really fresh and knew real (i.e. none of those frozen fries) . the chinchulins were good, stripped and salted, as I got. some needed a little more cooking to make them crunchier, in my opinion, but that is a personal preference, as usually those like fries. the atmosphere was amazing, super realistic without pretensions. just a group of guys who work lunch at their local. great value also: ars240 for all that, including a bottle of water with gas. My kind of place! recommended if you're not too spicy. I'd come back in a blink of eyes.
Not so in sight or so hidden. This typical grill of the porteño center offers a menu that although it is not expensive is also not cheap. the prices are BIEN! the good thing is that you have a back square you can eat in bar or sit outside. attended by experienced mozos so the service is good! The food is not made to wait almost anything! so it is a very good option to eat medium to step in the center spending what is due for a grilled meat lunch.
