Cafe Zupas - Buffalo Grove

A great place for a healthy meal! Loved her soup! Tried her lobster bisque and garden protein bowl and both were so good! The ambience was nice, the staff was friendly and the line moved quite quickly thought it was rush hour. The salad greens were fresh and everything tasted great. Oh! And also the Belgian chocolate dipped strawberry and the French baguette roll were good.

I love Zupas only look at this new design that looks much better now. Everything is good at this special restaurant. People are nice and very helpful. The interior is fresh and clean. I love their salads and soups, although soups are a bit too salty are not a problem for me, although people who could watch their sodium might want to skip them. And also strawberry desert is so good I can never resist getting it. Ask question

The first time here and it's delicious! I had this idea in my head that this was like an old school soup and a salad place. I'm so glad I was wrong. I tried a few combos, the first was Pesto chicken and Chipotle chicken salad, and the second was Chili Enchilada chicken and the honey cilantro carnitas. Very tasteful and good portions, good amount of dressing without salad drown. The best part is that the combo comes with a chocolate covered strawberry to finish the meal. I also tried the cheesecake and it was delish without being too sweet. Nice and soft, not dry. I like salads and sandwiches can be made easily and soups can be brought to jazz with a number of different topping options such as tortilla strips, crispy onions, cheese, etc. While I really like this place, I'm just a little disappointed that they can't really serve people with nut allergies. You have no guarantees for cross-contamination. That was really the only drawback. The facilities are glitteringly clean and many drinks options available.

The salad I had was delicious and refreshing! I ordered the option of sandwich and half soup or half salad (obvily I have the salad! Strawberry with poppyberry dressing) the sandwich was warm and just so delicious! (Had the honey bacon club) It was a bit loud in there, that was the only thing I didn't like, but not enough to remove a star. It's one thing they should pull down a bit.

Cafe Zupas is by far my favorite up and coming restaurant in the Chicagoland area. The food is all made from scratch in their kitchen and is delicious. The pesto and grilled cheese is the best I've ever had. Their salads are also really good. There is also a wide variety of deserts and drinks as well. You really can't go wrong with anything you get here.
