The ultimate destination for sushi! Can anyone say Sushi Doraku or Todai? The Taste of Tokyo has truly raised the bar. As a sushi enthusiast, I value both quality and quantity. I’ve dined at the finest sushi restaurants and buffets, but this place offers high-quality, hand-crafted sushi that’s reminiscent of what you’d find in Japan. Seriously, I’ve experienced sushi served on floating wooden boats—29 of them, to be exact! The service here is impressive as well; you can order whatever you desire, and as much as you can eat, all for just twenty dollars per person! This is the best-kept sushi secret in the Chicagoland area. Don’t tell me you think it’s too far! I live near Wrigley, and it’s just a half-hour drive. The trip is absolutely worth it. Great food and excellent service all in one place! I had the dynamite roll, sweet potato chicken teriyaki dinner, and pork katsu dinner.

The taste of Tokio is fantastic! My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for over a year now, and it's our favorite place to dine. The sushi is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the Zoom Zoom and Raup—both are incredible! The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is clean and cozy. This will always be our go-to spot!
