Charlie's Boat Yard - Buffalo

I visited for a late lunch at 2 PM on a sunny Saturday during Labor Day weekend. I was seated right away. Our server, Danielle, was friendly and attentive. My wife and I both ordered the Taco Trio along with drinks. Our food arrived quickly, was tasty, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing.

This restaurant is way too overpriced for the quality of food they serve! My daughter ordered a steak sandwich, and when it arrived, it was mostly just a sub roll with only five small cubes of meat on it. I brought this to the waitress's attention, stating that I didn't expect to pay $16 for such a small sandwich. She explained that they portion the meat out, and if I wanted more, I'd have to pay extra. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer good quality food at reasonable prices. This will be the first and last time I visit this place.

I visited Charlie's Boat Yard for the first time and really enjoyed it. The open windows and doors allowed a lovely breeze from Lake Erie to flow in. The menu featured some delicious Buffalo cuisine along with other appetizing dishes. I do have one suggestion: it might be better to replace the iced tea.

I have updated this review after getting more information about what we were told was lobster roll with butter was actually lobster salad with mayo and celery seeds. My partner who ordered this was unsure if something was wrong as not that which sheknew as buttered lobster roll. I tasted it at home and while th celery seed was different knowing the ingredients and freshlobster allowed me to enjoy. We were quickly seated with no view of the lake. The service was generally quick and pulled porkwas bountiful and delicious too. Perhaps our server was new and unfamiliar with some of the food as she was friendly andefficient. It is difficult to hear as quite noisy,
