It is a hidden gem. The picture of the door below reminded me of something from Narnia. Tucked away in the far corner of the outside bar.
Cool spot nestled within the towering silos (within Silo City). Inside of an old administration building, the two story structure has been renewed while keeping many of it historical elements. It is located just at the end of the road and seems a little sketchy driving to it, but don't worry it is just ongoing construction in the adjacent towers. All of the staff are friendly and unique. Ben hooked us up with cocktails. The menu is currently limited but tasty. The pulledpork was tasty. Craft cocktails are available along with a nice mix of IPA's and some wine selections too. Relax indoors or head outside to the cantina to relax on the patio, or in the grove area where there is often live music. We havebeen hear a couple times and we're not disappointed. Get out and try them on. It's a unique experience you won't regret. Bonus:. There is a gallery located on the 2nd floor for art lovers.
Cool space, very worth checking out. There was very good live music while we there. Large outdoor area but not dog friendly.
I have 1 star for service because there is no service. You have go up to the bar to order drinks and your food then pick it up at the kitchen when your pager goes off. There is even a sign to Please bus your own tables. Menu was very limited and on the pricey side for what you get. The sliders were $21.
I was very disappointed with this place today. I usually love duende but from start to finish it was bad. It started when we asked if they had coffee and the bartender started trying to explain what a French press was to me. It felt like they were trying to talk me out of getting a coffee with a shot of Jamison in it. I ended up saying that if he did not want to make it he didn’t have to and it was uncomfortable. Then we ordered some nachos and after about 20 mins we went inside to check on it because our buzzer didn’t go off, turns out they were ready but they gave us the wrong buzzer number. We had cold soggy nachos after that. Finally, we tried to close our tab and the bartender was rude and dismissive. We were the last people waiting at the bar and she was visibly and verbally annoyed with us. It’s a shame because I love this place but the service today makes me not want to come back.
