India Gate Hertel Ave - Buffalo

This was my first visit to India Gate and it definitely won't be my last. I dined with my son and daughter-in-law, who had been there before and helped us with our order. We enjoyed every single item we ordered. I highly recommend India Gate.

Yesterday was my first meal after surgery and I was deeply disappointed, mainly due to the poor quality of customer service. I visited the restaurant with my Mom and we were the only customers being served at the time. It seemed like a family business, but the young lady serving us appeared to be unenthusiastic and lacking in hospitality. She didn't bother pouring our water and left the glasses upside down on the table. I ordered Pakora and my Mom ordered something else.

The Indian food at this restaurant is fantastic. It is truly the best in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I will definitely be back, most likely this week as I will be craving it again soon.

We went for my son's birthday dinner, and we shared several dinner meals and appetizers. Everything we had was luscious and flavorful. The spicy things were nice and spicy for a well tempered Buffalo palate, while the mild things still had plenty of flavor. We will definitely go back. ????

Absolutely delicious food! Great paneer dishes and huge samosas. Korma had a good variety of veggies. Service was very friendly and accommodating. We even ordered extra food to go b/c we want to eat more of this tomorrow.
