I had dinner with my family here on a Friday night in March, and once again, the food was fantastic! My 6-year-old son declared the vegetable dumplings the best food he’s ever tasted. My wife and I shared a variety of sashimi and sushi rolls, and our favorite was definitely the Beef Tataki Sun Roll. I was pleasantly surprised by how much my kids enjoyed the dumplings and how much they ate of their meals. They ordered the Kids Stir Fried Noodle Combo and the Kids Pad Thai Combo, and it was impressive to see that these weren't small portions—they nearly finished everything! The service was warm and friendly, and we will certainly be bringing the kids back here!
Feeling hungry, I ordered food to go and decided to treat myself by sitting at the sushi bar while I waited. The food was excellent, but I spent over $50 and felt like a complete afterthought the entire time. I had to ask for my drink several times. I really dislike writing this review, as I’ve never written a negative one before. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call because I once loved this place. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
I purchased a Hyde, but it was already burnt when I received it. I asked for a replacement, but the worker who sold it to me refused, saying he couldn't do that. I've been to this place many times, and this was the first time I've ever asked to return a Hyde for a new one. It's disappointing, especially since they seem to cater to underage customers.
On Friday, September 30, I placed an online order with a scheduled pickup at 4:00 PM. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early and was informed that my order was almost ready. However, I didn't receive the hot and cold appetizers until 4:15 PM, and the rest of my order didn't arrive until 4:35 PM. When I inquired about the delay, I was told there had been a shift change and that I should avoid ordering at that time. I also asked why the system allowed me to place an order if it couldn't be fulfilled, but I didn't get a response. It seemed that the quality of the food had also declined due to the shift change. Overall, I doubt I'll order from here again since there are other equally good options available.
