The owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for having one server/bar tender working during a busy Saturday night with baseball and NHL games happening. Julia was an absolute gem and busting her butt, working hard to do her job. The poor girl had no help at all and the owners walked in and didn’t even try to help her. They walked right back out. People were upset about the slow service and none of that had anything to do with Julia. The only reason I’m giving 5 stars for service is because of her. The tables were dirty, the food runners and bussers were useless and Julia still managed to keep the bar and restaurant running ALONE!!! Terrible way to run a business and a terrible way to treat your staff. Give Julia a raise and thank the ground she walks on for keeping your business afloat.
Say that you're me. You're on a bus from Cleveland to Toronto and have two hours in Buffalo. You've always wanted to try authentic wings in Buffalo, NY.Be me. Go to Washington Square. It's a wonderful dive bar. The wings are delicious. They hit you with a wave of vinegar and are perfectly crispy. The bartender, Joe, is friendly and the beer is cheap. I would have spent all night here if I could.
This is a gem! Basic pub fare done amazingly well! Beef on weck and wings (sauces homemade in house) are spot on. The 5 of us all actually raved. Inexpensive too. Super friendly folks working here!A fun find!
Beef in wick is always a good choice. Wings are a must.
