Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Buford

Waited 40 mins on the drive through line for blackened chicken. When it's my turn I was unable to order this because the cook does not understand English. Take a page out of Chik fil a, if for some reason you cannot provide the entirety of the menu then walk outside and tell us since y'all still lock the doors for anyone to order inside. I was lucky and was able to order a 5 piece tender for the wife and to my surprise only received a few fries and 4 tenders. I guess 6 fries is considered a regular.

Best chicken sandwich around especially for the price! Just note that sometimes the drive-thru can wrap the building. Also, it's always great to warm your food up in the air fryer if you can't eat in.

I order a three piece mixed mask and received a leg, thigh and a wing I thought I was to receive a breast which I thought I asked for) the lemonade mix was off too tart and the Sprite was a little better mix off a bit). I ordered shrimp 6-8) meal as well and the total was just around $18. I was rushing to work so I didn't find out about my shortsightedness until I snacked on the food 5 minutes before clocking in for work. Customer service with the cashier was good no hesitation to swap the sour lemonade. The condiments were in the bag. For the price and amount of food, I felt short changed. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy. I hadn't had Popeye's for a while. I guess I'll wait the inflation out for my next visit. Mashed potatoes were good! Maybe I'll get luckier next time.

First off I love popeyes!! However this is the 4th time I have visited this location only to be told not only do they not have butterfly or popcorn shrimp but also no tenders. Literally its Popeye's chicken!? Last time at least they had someone waving off cars in drive thru saying no chicken tenders or shrimp just bone in. Heck there is a KFC for that but this time waited 10-15 min only to be told at drive up speaker ???????????? Side note This location is 5 minutes from my house the next closest is 15 min towards Cummins right off Hwy 20 and Market place. Next time ill just go to that location. This location is not well run at all. Don't waste your time waiting in drive through. Just follow the rainbow to the other location(literally taken while waiting in drive through line ???? other picture is on marketplace following the rainbow to a different Popeye's)

The fried fish is fresh. Service is good. Friendly staff. It's a cash-onky establishment, but you fill your belly on the cheap! Do NOT sit by the windows! The local vendors are very aggressive and will reach through the window, even slide it open to peddle their wares and even touch you!! GOLLY!
