The Twisted Oar - Buford

The food was simply amazing, both in terms of preparation and presentation. Everything was very appealing. We particularly loved the specialty bar drinks! I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

This is likely the cleanest dive bar you'll encounter. While some reviews mention rowdy patrons, it's a popular spot where many locals gather for drinks and food. It's family-friendly in the early afternoon, but it transforms into more of a bar vibe later in the day. I visit 2-3 times a week, and I can say that the food is fantastic, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is wonderful.

On a Friday night, the overall number of patrons was lower than usual, but the service was exceptional thanks to our attentive waitress and the kitchen staff, who promptly delivered our food. Gary Carter’s guitar music perfectly enhances the atmosphere at this casual waterside marina bar and grill. Be prepared to see plenty of familiar faces and regulars at this cozy spot by the water.

This is a fantastic lakeside bar. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they have an excellent selection of beers. The owners are wonderful and will take the time to sit down and chat with you about your experience. Plus, there’s live music on the patio during the weekends!
