I prefer less saltier flavours so it was definitely hit the spot for me. Haven’t tried the pastas here but will do next time!
Happened across this place by accident and so glad we did. Service was very welcoming, even with three little boys in tow. We were seated immediately and ordered just as fast. Woodfire pizza was delicious! Could not fault the base or toppings. Quality ingredients used throughout, we literally ate every crumb. Finished off with a generous plate of Bombolone, served with vanilla custard, Nutella and vanilla ice cream that was silky smooth and rich in flavour. Super impressed and so pleased to find such authentic flavours in my own suburb! Thank you and see you again soon Mulino :
Love the atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff. Everyone is very friendly, warm and welcome as you enter. If you love wood fire pizza, here they do it right. It was absolutely delicious at a reasonable price. The desert is delicious and I feel they put a lot of pride in every dish they serve and hope they continue to keep this up. Looking forward to coming back.
This is a great woodfire pizza joint, the base is not soggy when it comes out, a nice crust very much like New York coal fired pizza. John is a master, I've only just met the owner, he's been making pizzas for 27 years. You can feel the passion when he talks. The servers could be better, but when food is this good for a local you can be a little flexible. We had the gnocchi is a clay pot, my god as good as I've ever had, the pappardelle ragu was just a touch too al dente and the plate very cold. Flavour 10/10. The pizza is so good, just cooked to perfection and with the right amount of ingredients and toppings. Our friend asked if he had gluten free pizza, I was embarrassed at the length he went to preparing the surface, the over cleaning every bit of flour to make a gluten free pizza. AND when it came out OMG it was amazing, so amazing I'm thinking I'll switch to GF, topping again perfect. I was so excited that I forgot to take photos, but I will next time I go. This guy knows PIZZA!!! A must if you live in Melbourne.
The best little Italian restaurant in the area. The best pizza’s and pasta and genuine friendly service. I’m telling everyone you won’t be disappointed! I love the caper berries on the Napoli Pizza, and the gamberi risotto.
