Dome - Bunbury

First post ever. Stopped over on way from Perth to Busselton. Ordered lunch at 1.45 with the wife. Took a while. Then when it came out it was terrible. BLT bread was soggy and the club sandwich was burnt. Hey Dome if you're going to hire young staff, you need good management. This has put me off Dome FULLSTOP.

Same old, same old selection of cakes that are often dried out or tasteless. I don't bother going here anymore. The coffee is excellent but the food isn't very good in my opinion. It's great though if you want to people watch or meet friends whilst you're out shopping in the Forum as it's ideally located.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a busy Saturday morning. Went upstairs to avoid the manic Christmas shopping crowd...pleasantly surprised how quite it is up there. I ordered the Thai beef salad and to be honest, this was the best one I have had in Bunbury for a long time. Just the right amount of chilli and not afraid of the coriander! TS (Teenage Son) when for waffles...as you do when you are 18! I managed to pry a small mouthful away from the eating machine....and they were REALLY good. Not too pricey and the service was quick and friendly.

After years of enjoying Dome-by-the-Harbour, I tried Dome-at-the-Forum, for lunch. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Squid Salad, with a large cappuccino. Used the free wifi, while waiting for my lunch. It's a little s-l-o-w, but it's free... and I need to stay connected... .Dome's S&P Squid is predictably consistent and appetising. I always wonder if a couple of extra squidbitz might not go astray, but it's tasty, nonetheless. Maybe the cucumber and tomato 'chunks' might be a little more presentable... . There's very little extra effort in slicing... .My cappuccino? Up-to-Dome-standard. Service? Very helpful and friendly... . Thank you... .

Thoroughly enjoyed catching up here. The service was prompt. Atmosphere was great, we could talk and hear easy enough. We could move table to open up the area to cater for our numbers. Quality of food was excellent. Valve for money. Highly recommend for a carch up.
