I had what they call seniors Christmas lunch. it was terrible $30 total waste of money. eating was cold suppe and main meal, and very little on top. the service was terrible. arrived at 12 o'clock, got our main meal at 1.40 I'm not. not interested in talking. this service is unacceptable. I will not go back
Only seven members of our group were able to attend this gathering, which resulted in a slightly older average age among participants. We all had a very enjoyable lunch together. Most of us savored the delicious grilled snapper with chips and salad, while a few opted for the hearty steak. Everyone enjoyed their selections of drinks, and some of the more experienced members decided to continue the celebration with a few extra rounds.
A group went out for lunch today and I ordered the steak. Unfortunately, about 75% of the steak was inedible as it was tough and cold. The best part of the meal was the salad. The person beside me ordered the soup of the day, but it was not even warm and came with two plain bread rolls and no butter. The service was also lacking as our table was not cleared. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.
Back to the Highway for one of our infrequent lunch meetings, 8 seniors of varying vintage from 69 years of age upwards Tables well spaced due to current Covid restrictions and staff ensured compliance with regulations. We enjoyed varying pre-dinner drinks while awaiting delivery of...our meals. On this occasion I ordered the Sweet Lip Snapper, beer battered and with chips, salad, tartare, lemon. Enough on the plate to satisfy a large appetite and enjoyable. Similar comments from fellow diners. Unfortunately I had to depart earlier than the others, it seemed that they were settling in for an enjoyable afternoon.
