Driftwood Cafe Bundeena

Stopped in here for breakfast before taking on a bushwalk in the National Park. The cafe presents really well and has a pleasant, relaxed ambience, both inside and on the deck overlooking the main street and (a little further away) the beach. Staff were efficient...and friendly, and treated the requirement for Covid safe check ins seriously, which was good to see. Coffee was really first rate, and we enjoyed our meals the deliciously healthy granola bowl and a egg and bacon roll. Would definitely like to return next time I'm in town.

My wife and I respectively enjoyed sensational veggie and brekky burgers and a decent coffee from one of the three cafes on the main drag. Not sure what the other two are like but I highly recommend this one. Beautiful buns and delicious ingredients perfectly...cooked.

Fueled up for a 15km return walk to Maley Beach but stopping in for Breaky Burger GF Bacon Egg Taosty and Coffees. Food was good, coffees were great. This was the last few days of Sydney's (hopefully last) lockdown, so with plenty of...serviettes and an offer of disposable we had our meal across the road in the park.

Bundeena is perched on the edge of the Royal National Park, so the environment is exceptional. Driftwood provides excellent food selected and served with imagination.

We dined in this cafe for breakfast, ordering 2 coffees a pulled pork breakfast and bacon and eggs. We sat on the outside) tables and I noticed all the people eating there had take away cups and cardboard boxes. Our coffee and food comes out...in takeaway cups, water also in takeaway cups and food in cardboard boxes with thin timber cutlery. The GF toast was under toasted and so hard to cut on cardboard with the flimsy cutlery. The egg yolks just ran all over the cardboard making a soggy mess. My meal was $26 and I had to leave over half of it. The extensive use of disposable products for dine in customers huge bin outside for dine in people to throw it all in) is VERY disappointing. Environmentally irresponsible If we were advised food would be served like this we would not have eaten here. Put a sign up and let people make their own decision!
