The Wine - Buntingford

Went on a day trip out and came across the Cheese Plate. Lovely shop, with wonderful cheeses. Very friendly couple who own the shop. A couple of tables where you can have a tea and a very tasty light lunch. We had a cheese plate rarebit and a croque monsieur. Gorgeous!!!

Love having lunch here sitting down with a glass of red wine and a cheeseboard. They can either surprise you with a selection or you can select them yourself or a bit of both!

We had a great evening with a nice friendly group of foodies sampling some lovely cheeses which were matched superbly with super wine. No wonder Toby has such a lovely award winning cheese shop. It was a great way to spend the evening, eating different cheeses and listening to Toby explaining how and where they were created. Thanks also to our son Aaron for buying us the tasting adventure.

Great wine and cheese evening some fantastic cheese and some even better wine! Great hosts and we will be returning!
