Granted this is an airport restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much. But I was given the worst seasoned food, eggs something that requires salt and pepper. Tots and charged 27$. All while rushed out of the restaurant, I was barely half way through my meal and the server came by with the check. Didn’t ask whether I wanted a drink or something else. I had maybe 3 interactions, coffee. Food. Then check. After the fact she asked if I needed anything. The restraint had available seating. Being served a glorified Panera breakfast was not how I imagine dining at a restaurant under a well known chef and personality like guy. But I guess there are a lot of fake things in the LA area.
My wife and I got breakfast here...it was fabulous! We both got a breakfast burrito (and coffee next door at Jones)...it came with tots. The burrito and salsa and tots were really tasty, very fresh, good quality. I'd go again in a heart beat except we'd share a burrito (huge burrito at $20 ea) since neither of us could finish ours!
Only eat here if you’re starving, stuck in Terminal B, and willing to sell an arm and left an underwhelming meal. It’s an airport, so yes, expect to pay a little more than normal. However, know for the quality you’ll get, it’s laughable. I literally watched as the waitress ran across the hall to pick the bowls we ordered off of the grab and go kiosk they had 20 ft from the restaurant. To the waitresses credit, she did call out the over inflated cost when my sister tried to order a well double $36… .Perhaps I’m spoiled by PDX having all types of local quality food options at a reasonable price, but as someone that travels a lot, I’m usually able to find a quality restaurant at most airports that is only slightly overpriced.
My wife and I had a drink before our flight. $57 for 2 drinks.... In what world? I've been to many airports and order drinks and never had I come across such asinine prices for two drinks. No doubles. Not even blended drinks. Times are tough I know but really? Tried talking with the server an management but got shut down. Was told not to leave a tip and they'd be ok with that. No. We left a tip because it's not the kids fault for terrible management and operational procedures. If you're at this air port...avoid them. Not worth your hard earned money. As a business owner I quickly take care of my customers and find some middle ground or simply comp them so they have a great experience in my business.
