One of the best sandwiches I've had for a long time and as a sandwich afficient that says a lot. The Dutch crisper bread is incredible that I love the great unique menu. A ton of vegetarian/vegan options as well as, and so many more choices than the run of the mill salad on bread with spices the most other sandwich shops offer vegetarians.
It was good, the french frys were good, but expensive 5.00 for a small bag. The sandwiches are also on the high side. Average price for one is 12 above and this does not include drinks and chips. So I've made three star cause. But I think everything in the Burbank is high.
One of the best sandwich shops I had down my hands. Your selection of products is amazing, and the chips / drinks / desserts are all good quality. Who calls the shots (I want to think the real Ike) has made decisions that are of good taste rather than how they could make more, and it is obvious. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and comfortable, with cute vintage lunch boxes decorate the walls. My sandwich was perfect, and I went with something pretty basic. (Turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, Mayo on wheat) with one side of their home haveero hot sauce. Next time I try one of their more signature sandwiches! My iced tea was organic (for those who care about it) I would definitely recommend that you wish a quick bite, and really wish it a place closer to where I live! Nothing but good words from me, keep the amazing work!
To prevent my 3-star rating, I would like to say that the food tasted great, and we will give this place absolutely another shot. But the store lost our order, made our sandwiches, and the substitute sandwiches were both missing salads and tomatoes, although we both demand the sandwiches as it contains salads and tomatoes. I'm glad to talk about the good first. My wife and I ordered the Hungry Owl or Pilgrim. We both agree that the sandwiches tasted. I can't speak for the Hungry Owl, but the cranberry sauce they used for the pilgrim was tart and sweet. I had her vegan turkey myself, and it's a good substitute. The sourdough was impeccable. Soft and crispy. My wife suffers from Celiac disease, and so she has to deal with terrible gluten-free bread all the time. She says her gluten-free bread was delicious. We'll try this place again. That said we placed our order on their website and said the sandwiches would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the sandwiches were not ready. When I asked about our food, maybe they spent 5-10 minutes to find out what happened. In defense of poor woman, she cheered my problem, another guy's messed up order, and ringed customers. (Note: She gave the customer a free subcoupon, and the other customers 't complaint, so I imagine that they were satisfied. When she discovered that our order was lost, she outweighed the order and made it. I got two vouchers for free sandwiches as a gracious excuse. When I came home with our food, my wife and I discovered neither the sandwiches of salad or tomatoes. I know mine was vegan but because we had previously bought the same vegan turkey from the store, so no worries there. Otherwise the sandwiches tasted great. I don't believe it against the woman who helped me (which I thought was a manager). She did her best even though she was happy. She was a one-woman show and was amazing. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. Thanks, nice lady. TL;DR: Food was bomb and the staff was exceptional, but they lost our order and blew up the replacement, although they did two free sub-coupons before I left. Your gluten-free bread is delicious.
