Ralphs - Burbank

███ Happened right around 510pm. Went here to get seafood items and as I was walking along the back near the meat section I asked this lady who had an apron on if she worked there, she then ignored me and after I immediately asked her again she looked at me and said no and then proceeded through the back doors where only employees are allowed. I don't know what kind of training goes on here where employees can be so dismissive and lie to customers like that, but I'll be shopping else where from now on.

I didn't want to do this but I must. About 10 years ago Ralph's at Victory Buena Vista was having a huge issue with expired food. It took awhile to get straightened out but, it finally did. Since then I haven't seen one expired item. That all changed last week. My wife and I were shopping and when I purchase Lox (Smoked Salmon sliced) I also look at each pack and choose the best ones and look at the Sell By Date. To my amazement, every one of the Vitta Lox was not only expired but, eight (8) packages out of 8 were all expired in August! That's over two(2) months! I couldn't believe my eyes. I then took all eight packages to the Store Manager and when I showed him, he didn't seem to care either way. He just said thank you and went back to what he was doing! Truly unbelievable! I hope they get this fixed soon. If not, we're going elsewhere.

They start making sushi at their station at 7am daily. Super fresh the rice are still warm! Price is reasonable. I will definitely come back for more!!

I’ve been meaning to post this for some time now.This summer I came in to the store on a very busy day; they were preparing for corporate to visit, the store was full of patrons, and lil ole me had trouble finding coconut water. The store had been rearranged and I needed this water.I’m serious when I said needed. My 3 year old expressly asked that I get him a coconut water. A specific type and brand. If I came home empty handed…. Oh what a night we would have. The tantruming, the crying. Kids go through growth spurts where nothing in their brain makes sense, everything is the end of the world.I didn’t get the chance to explain why I needed this coconut water. I’m pretty sure I came off very LA, but everyone I came into contact with was warm, talkative, open, and helpful. We couldn’t find the exact size he wanted, but we got the brand and flavor. My three year old was happy.You guys thank you. It’s the little things in life. You guys really helped me out and I’m grateful. Been coming here for over 4 years now, outside of a few kinda annoying peeps, most everyone here is just living their life and being great at their job. Thank you guys.

Love coming here at 5am. Love being able to get grocery shopping done after work. I can sleep right after too. It’s just so convenient and all the employees are so nice to you even tho it’s 5am.
