Santoro's Submarine Sandwiches

This place is awesome! If you’re into sandwiches, you’ve got to check it out. The menu is full of great options. I had half pastrami, half peppered steak, and it was seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was super fresh, and the ingredients tasted amazing. The staff is really friendly, too—they make you feel right at home and are happy to help if you’re not sure what to order. Overall, this place totally nails it. I’ll be back for sure to try more of their sandwiches. Highly recommend!

This place sucks.. Used to be good and they still touch money and their dirty counters and then touch your food when making it.. Better off at Jersey Mikes!!

The sandwiches here are fantastic! The Italian-style pastrami is absolutely delicious, and the pickles are top-notch. We also tried the meatball sandwich, which was good, but I highly recommend the pastrami instead. The sandwiches are quite large; the pictures only show half of each one! The ambiance of the place is charming, reminiscent of an old deli, and the staff is incredibly nice and friendly!

**Update 7/28/23**: I want to give a huge thank you to Joe, Carina, and Max. I visit Santoro’s about once a week, and I’m always greeted with a warm hello and a positive vibe, despite the line. Last Saturday, they even ran out of bread, which shows just how busy they are on weekends! Sal, the owner, deserves big kudos for assembling such an excellent team. The line moves quickly, and they always get my order right. Thank you, Santoro’s! Santoro’s has been a beloved fixture in Burbank since 1956, largely because their sandwiches are truly delicious. Just look at my turkey sandwich—it’s a work of art! I’ve tried nearly every sandwich on the menu, and I can confidently say they are all fantastic. I’m particularly fond of the oil and herb mixture they use in their subs. I walked in and had my sandwich in under five minutes, thanks to the friendly ladies at the counter who welcomed me. While there’s only street parking available, there’s plenty of it, and they offer large subs for parties as well.

Absolutely amazing! This place is a gem. They really know how to craft an Italian sandwich. If you're a pickle lover, you’ll definitely want to check this out. I find myself craving their sandwiches all the time because they get it just right. I haven’t come across any other place that makes a simple Italian sandwich as well as they do!
