Chose this spot based on reviews. I ordered the bbq combo with pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. For sides I got Mac and cheese and a sweet potato. The only thing hot on my plate was the sweet potato. The bbq was kind of dry and like it had been sitting in warmers. Definitely not a good experience. Bucee's had better brisket by far. I will not be returning.
Took a little while to get service, but it was good when we got it. The bar b que pork shoulder, sandwich, was pretty good at a decent price, 13 dollars. Although, the bbq nachos did not include enough pork which was advertised initially. Luckily, when asked, the manager provided more pork for the nachos. Speaking of atmosphere, it wasn't very riveting. It sort of looks like a cottage dining hall, sort of lumberjack style. Good place to take kids to with families, not really for casual or fine dining.
We highly reccomend Bennett's! It's a smaller local place with friendly staff, good atmosphere, and big portions of fantastic food that we couldn't get enough of our favorites were the pulled pork and fried deviled eggs!
Ordered the loaded baked potato and was surprised at how much food came for the price. We were seated quickly but needed to go back up to the front when no waitress came after sitting there for 20+ minutes. They did give me a discount on the price which was appreciated. Would come here again.
