Restaurant Schützenhaus - Burgdorf

We have visited the restaurant for the first time since I has been opened again after the renovation during Corona closure. We liked the new menu, waitress was very friendly, the food delicious and it came fast. This restaurant is a must when visiting Burgdorf for everybody who likes beer and food that goes along.

We visited this restaurant some years ago, had a great meal then and decided to come back. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We visited on a Saturday and made a reservation (which turned out to be unnecessary). For some reason they only had the reduced menu, which was a big disappointment. The house itself was nice, but the room we were seated in was dimly lit and the tables a bit run down. The food was alright, the beers were very good. Service was overall a bit slow but very nice and friendly. After we expressed our disappointment with the reduced menu, she comped our beers, which was a very nice gesture. Overall, I had good memories about this place but was a bit disappointed. Good for beers, not recommended for eating.
