Mermaid Sushi - Burleigh Waters

We came across this place by accident when we were holidaying at a nearby resort. It looked a bit understated from the outside and I nearly gave it a miss. However, I ate the best sushi ever and enjoyed it so much, I went back for a second night. You can order from a menu and/or take plates off the conveyor belt. I noticed they did takeaway too. Family run, fresh and authentic.

This unpretentious little sushi restaurant was a great find. It's basic but the staff are friendly and efficient. The food is absolutely great and it's not too expensive. To be recommended.

The service was wonderful, perfect for the kids as they got to choose what they wanted. Very fresh

What a wonderful welcome you get every time you walk in the door at this sweet little restaurant! Delicious sushi, some of the best I've had :-)
