Hadnt been back since the dining room was overhauled glad we tried again! Much cleaner, and the food tastes better. Update: our server was new, so we will excuse some oversights. Food is just as good, though smaller portions which is just fine with us, as none was wasted!
The food and service was excellent. Thinking maybe the hostess had somewhere else to be because as we arrived 45 minutes until closing, she seemed reluctant to seat us.. which would be more understandable if it were 15 minutes or less until closing.. but I've worked in her industry.. and definitely understand.. some days are longer than others.. Our waiter was excellent... Wish I could remember his name., But it was my birthday.. I'm getting older and they say the memory is the first to go.. or was it hearing is the first to go.?
The one on camp bowie much better. Better food better service. There was very little chili sauce or cheese sauce on our enchiladas. Hard and dry taco shell. I will stick to the one on camp bowie. It's worth the extra drive
My wife and I had dinner there tonight. Saw signs of hiring. The staff were very helpful. The bartender had to be our server. The plate was very hot but the food was terrible. Rice was dry and old, beans were dry and not good. My cheese enchilada tasted like it was made earlier and reheated. Seems lack of staff causing drop in quality. When food is brought out 5 minutes after ordering means it was pre-made. Not sure we will eat there again.
